Originally, Under Construction was going to be a part of a compilation for Fandom 4 Disaster Relief. However, a couple of weeks ago, the due dates changed. The due dates were initially scheduled for the end of October with the authors being able to post their stories in January. The new dates are now in April with authors posting in July.
That's a LITTLE too long in between installments. January was a long time, but doable.
So, after contacting the organizers, I decided to write something different for the compilation. Instead of submitting Under Construction as originally planned, I'll be submitting the first few chapters of a story that I'd been toying with for awhile: Perfect Storm. It'll be my take on the movie, Into the Storm.
What does that mean for you?
That means that I will start posting Under Construction sooner than January. I'm thinking that it will begin posting in October, following the same posting schedule as Renovations: Wednesdays and Sundays will have updates, while the teasers will come out on Thursdays and Mondays.
Keep your eyes peeled for an extended summary and banner to be posted a week from today. Like Renovations, the story is already written. And the third installment, Restoration, is halfway completed, too.
