Blockbuster Teaser

The movie, my movie, was met with rousing, amazing reviews and was a hit with both the critics and audiences alike. I was shocked, to say the least. With each interview, each review, and each comment posted online and shared in print media, I felt the tension leave my body, leaving me a boneless heap. After two weeks of promoting the movie, we flew back to San Francisco and decompressed as a family, holing in our new home, and sleeping off the jetlag.

In between much needed naps and bonding as new family, we also started working on planning our wedding. Well, planning and executing said plan.

You’d be shocked how much money talked.

We had everything set up for our August thirteenth nuptials. Caius paid for the venue, the Wandering Tree Estate in Lake Tahoe and was planning on paying for my dress, jewelry, and cake for the reception. Carlisle and Esme were paying for the catering, flowers, and photos. I wanted to help, but my family was covering it all.

The weekend after we’d returned from our whirlwind promotional tour, I was working in the backyard on mapping out my next book series. I was relishing in the quiet as Edward and Seth were out grocery shopping and running errands. Bear was curled up in the shade as I surfed the web, finding photo inspiration for my newest book. Bear’s head popped up, woofing quietly. I shielded my eyes, smiling when I saw Caius walking toward me. We’d given him a key since he was considered family. “Hey, Caius. Long time, no see.”

“Well, you were traveling the globe,” Caius teased, sitting down across from me. He gave Bear a pet before he pushed his sunglasses onto his bald head. “Have you recovered from your jetlag?”

“For the most part,” I answered. “What brings you here?”

“Two things,” Caius said. “One, I wanted to see my adoptive daughter. It’s been far too long, sweetheart. And two, to take you wedding dress shopping.”

“Caius …” I argued. “The dress I wore for the movie premiere was a wedding gown. I can wear that.”

“Oh, hell no,” Caius grumped. “Edward saw you in that. While it was absolutely beautiful, you deserve a beautiful, one-of-a-kind dress. Since, I’m spending most of next week in court, I want to take you out today. I tried to coordinate with Esme to come with us, but she had some emergency down in Los Angeles.”

“Is everything alright?” I asked, closing my laptop.

“Some model broke out in hives or something, begging Esme to support her or whatever,” Caius snickered, waving his hand dismissively. “I have Esme’s phone number if you find something. We can video call her.”

“Let me send Edward a quick text to let him know that we’re going out. I need to change. I’m not really dressed for wedding dress shopping,” I deadpanned, gesturing to my yoga pants and oversized shirt I’d pilfered from Edward’s side of the closet. “Give me a few?”

“Of course,” Caius answered, picking up a slimy tennis ball and waved it in front of Bear. My dog hopped up, his butt wriggling. Caius threw the ball and Bear took off like a shot, chasing the ball and barking happily. I giggled, darting upstairs to change. I put on a pretty summer dress that I’d gotten with Rose, along with a pair of sandals. I sent a brief message to Edward, explaining that I was going out with Caius and would be back for dinner. Edward sent his love, along with a goofy selfie with Seth. I smiled, saving the picture to my phone and went back downstairs. Caius brought in Bear and was filling up the water bowl. “I gave the furball some treats - the green toothbrushy things.”

“Thanks,” I laughed. “Bear has some major doggy breath. No matter how many times we brush his teeth, his breath is awful.” Picking up my purse, I ruffled Bears ears. “I’m ready to go.”

We got into Caius’s car, and he drove us to a fancy bridal salon in downtown San Francisco. Walking inside, we were greeted by a friendly consultant, Abby. We sat down and drank champagne while we talked about my wedding. Even though it was going to a smaller affair, my celebrity, along with Edward’s fame, made the wedding a bigger deal than I’d ever anticipated. With that being said, the consultant seemed to smell a hefty sale since the turnaround to pick up the dress was about a month.

“What are thinking for as a shape?” asked the consultant, Abby. I looked at her blankly. Abby chuckled, asking, “Designer?”

“Who was the designer who did your dress for the premiere?” Caius questioned.

“Reem something?” I replied.

“Oh, Reem Acra. Such beautiful designs,” Abby gushed. “Let me pull some of the most popular wedding dresses and ones that might fit your tiny frame.”

“Nothing strapless,” I said. “I have some injuries, scars on my back. I don’t want them on display.”

Destination Date Update

March 30th, 2021

San Diego, California

Sitting in their van, Bella and Edward were working on their next YouTube video. It was a compilation of their time in San Diego, including some surfing, kayaking La Jolla, hitting up some of the best restaurants and spending time at the San Diego Zoo. With each video, their audience grew. They hit the mother lode when it came to the YouTube algorithm. Their channel hit 250,000 subscribers the day their first video for their van travels hit the internet. There were so many congratulations for their engagement and well-wishes for the beginning of their journey.

“I really like the freedom of traveling in this van. We’re working on a beach, watching the sunset,” Edward said, smiling at his fiancée.

“I was hesitant to take this leap,” Bella murmured honestly, pulling her legs up.

Edward looked at her, arching a brow. This was the first she’d mentioned it, but kind of understood why she would be. “How so?”

“Part of it was my fears,” she shrugged. “I was waiting for something to muck things up. Self-fulfilling prophecy or some shit.”

“And the other part?”

“I was waiting for you to throw me aside or lose you like everyone else in my life,” she sighed. “Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad I’m here with you. It’s everything I ever dreamed of and more. I have a partner who adores me. You’ve given me everything I ever wanted – a family.”

He put his computer to the side and pulled Bella into his lap. “I’d never throw you aside, Glitter. Never. You’re my soul mate. The yin to my yang,” he smirked. She snickered, trailing her fingers through the soft curls at the nape of his neck. “I will always be with you, on your side, Bella. You’re my best friend and so much more. I was content before I met you, but now? I’m eager to face the next day with you, love.”

“I love you, Edward. So much,” she whispered, kissing his lips. They lost themselves in their embrace for a few moments until Bella’s cell phone rang. It was Miss Alice’s ring tone. “Nooooooo!”

“You look forward to these phone calls, baby,” Edward snickered. “Tell Miss Alice that I say hi. I’m going to try and get some editing done. I also want to get our next episode scheduled on YouTube.”

“Okay,” she grinned, climbing off his lap, and swiping her phone. “Can you also make dinner? There’s enough for a stir fry in the fridge.”

“Will do,” he said, waving as she walked out to the beach with a blanket to take the call from Miss Alice.

Deepest, Darkest Desires Update

Deepest, Darkest Desires Ep. 2 on FFn

Dressed in a beautiful, lacy white gown, the same gown that Bella wore when she said ‘I do” to her Master and husband, she waited for him to place his collar around her neck. She was not in her inspection position. The expensive, exquisite gown prevented that. The dress had spaghetti straps, dipping into a deep V in the front. The back was completely bare. Lacy material clung to her body, skimming away from her lithe body at the hips. She was seated on the bench at the edge of the bed, breathing deeply while waiting for her Master.

“You are so perfect, my beauty,” Edward purred. “You look as gorgeous as you did when we got married.”

“Thank you, Master,” she murmured.

Their wedding happened in late May, on a trip to Cabo San Lucas. Jasper was Edward’s best man and Alice was Bella’s maid of honor. They stood on a beach, exchanging marriage vows as the sun set over the Pacific Ocean. After the priest finished his ceremony, Bella and Edward solidified their Dominant and submissive relationship. In addition to their rings, Bella and Edward would always have a token of their relationship. They both wore bracelets with the other’s name inscribed inside. Bella’s bracelet was platinum with diamonds. The word ‘Master’ was inscribed in Edward’s handwriting. Edward wore a platinum and gold cuff with the words ‘My Beauty, My Love’, inscribed in Bella’s script.

As much as they wanted to involve Edward’s parents, they knew that the type of ceremony they enjoyed would not be accepted by Esme’s high-society friends. Edward was also a private person. His wedding to his wife, his submissive, was for him and Bella.

“Will you calm your tits?” Angela laughed. She’d quickly become one Bella’s closest friends. She taught drama, introduction to public speaking and Brit Lit. “You’re going to sweat through your dress. You don’t have cold feet, do you?”

“Hell, no! My feet are toasty warm,” Bella retorted. “I just never imagined being here. I never thought I’d be married again.”

“You’re not married yet, bitch,” Angela smirked. “Dr. Heatwave is still single at this moment. Do you think he’d go for me?”

“I don’t think so, Ang. Besides, you’re married, woman! I love you and I love that you helped me come out of my shell,” Bella snickered. “I never realized how much I hid my personality. You know?”

“You were pretty quiet when I first met you. Then, I drew you into my world. Thank you for being my assistant director for the play. You were awesome. You’re doing it again, next year,” Angela proclaimed. “If you’re not knocked up.”

“I’m not pregnant, Angela,” Bella sighed.

“Then, why the rush to the altar?”

“Because, when you know, you know,” Bella shrugged.

I was reading some romance novel on the patio while Charlie played on blanket in the shade. Edward was working out with Emmett, rehabbing his injury, a month and a half after the shooting. It was the weekend before my uncle’s wedding. They were running along the shoreline of the lake, rebuilding my husband’s endurance. He had a gnarly scar due to the infection, but he was healing and almost back to his pre-injury self.
“Mama,” chirped my son. He stood up on wobbly legs, using the chaise lounge to move closer to me. “Up!”
I put my book down, scooping my son onto my lap. “You thirsty, sweet boy?”
“Yeah,” he nodded, idly playing with my hair that was braided over my shoulder. I picked up a sippy cup from a cooler underneath the side table. It was cold and he eagerly drank the apple juice. “Dada!” He pointed at Edward and Emmett as they sprinted along the sand. My husband was creaming Emmett. They were laughing as they made their way toward the house. “Dada!”
“Kick his butt, Edward,” I cheered. He smiled as he darted on to the patio and slid to a stop behind my chaise. “Woo! That’s my man.”
“Hell, Edward. Even gimpy, you’re faster than me,” Emmett panted as he gripped the railing of our deck. He sat down heavily, rubbing his chest. “Can’t breathe …”
“Here, Em, have some water,” Edward said, handing water to his younger brother. Emmett just scowled at Edward, still breathing unevenly. “Hey, don’t look at me in that tone of voice. It’s not my fault that you’re so slow. It’s why you were on defense on the high school football team and I was the wide receiver.”
“I’m not slow,” Emmett muttered under his breath, slamming his water and pouring it over his dark curls. “You’re just freakishly fast, Edward. Damn.” I cleared my throat, arching a brow at Emmett and I held out my hand. “Come on, Bella! I’m dying here.”
“You owe Charlie, your adorable and malleable nephew, $15,” I smirked.
Edward reached into his pocket and handed his brother a small card that I had laminated for all the potty mouthed members of our family. Emmett’s jaw dropped. “Bella’s serious about this swear jar. Charlie is a little parrot. He repeats everything.”
“I’ll have to pay you later. I didn’t exactly bring my wallet,” Emmett grumbled. He looked down at his phone and he got up quickly. “I’ve got to go. I’m meeting Lauren at Chicago Title.”
“Did you purchase a home?” I asked. “I know you mentioned it, but I never heard anything after that initial conversation.”
“We did. I found a gorgeous home in Mom and Dad’s neighborhood,” Emmett said. “It’s further in and right along the lake, similar to this place, but on a smaller scale. It’s perfect for the two of us … and when the time is right, more.”
“Are you thinking of proposing?” Edward questioned, holding Charlie between his legs and idly playing with his son.
Emmett wrinkled his nose. “I don’t know. I love Lauren. We’re a good match …”
“You’re gun-shy,” I finished for him. “After what Rosalie did to you, cheating on you and everything else. I don’t blame you.”
“We’ll talk more,” Emmett said. He nodded before darting to the front of the house.
“What do you think about Emmett’s decision about Lauren?” I asked, standing up and picking up Charlie. It was getting warm and in the distance, I heard the faint rumble of thunder. Edward picked up the cooler, following me into the house. I put Charlie into his highchair, making us lunch. “Edward?”
“I don’t blame him for being hesitant. Rosalie raked him over the coals,” Edward answered. “But, to not marry Lauren? They are so well suited to each other. They make each other laugh. She grounds him, loving him despite his position within our family.” He pursed his lips. “Whatever he decides, I’ll support him. He needs to come to whatever realization he wants to make about Lauren on his own.”
“If I had to guess, they’ll get completely hammered and then elope,” I snickered, putting a sandwich in front of Edward.
