Day #22: A fic that makes you sad.

It doesn't make me sad, but writing it helped me with my sadness in losing my mom ... Picking Up the Pieces by me.

Isabella Black lost her husband in the cruelest way possible. Jacob wasted away by the evil, silent killer, cancer. A year after his death, Bella packs up her home in Phoenix and drives back to Forks, Washington. Will she finally find a way to pick up the pieces with the help of her family, friends and a green-eyed cop?

Day #23: A fic that deserves a sequel.

This is tough for me. The stories that are stand alone are perfect the way they are. The ones that have sequels or are series are perfect, too.

However, in my FB group, Tufano79′s Twilight Fanfiction Appreciation, Charlie’s Voice by WeeKittyAndTAT deserves a sequel.

Summary: Edward Cullen moves home after the mother of his son leaves them. Meeting Dr. Swan is a bit of a shock, because she's not who he was expecting. Edward learns from the new doctor and she enlists his help in starting an informational blog. Charlie's Voice and little Charlie himself bring these two closer than either of them bargained for.

Day #24: A fic that reminds you of summer.

Tides of Fate, the iconic summer fic!

After four years in a bad relationship, and two years of depressed seclusion, Alice and Rosalie drag best friend Bella on a tropical vacation designed by fate. AH OOC. B/E, R/Em, A/J. Rated M for future lemony goodness and occasional strong lang.PLS R&R

Summer Vacation by Twireader81 ... I’ve not read this one because of the length (which is ironic because I’m a wordy bitch). But, it’s next on my TBR.

New couple, Bella and Edward, spend their summer break from university together in Forks, strengthening their relationship. Bella gets to know the Cullen family and becomes reacquainted with her dad. AH.

There’s also a couple of follow up stories to Summer Vacation. The first one is Summer Vacation, Back to Class.

Sequel to Summer Vacation. After an amazing four month break from school, Bella and Edward return to Seattle for another year of college, in love and engaged. Follow their new adventures as they plan a wedding and go back to class. AH

And a WIP, Summer Vacation: Happily Ever After.

The third in the Summer Vacation series. Bella and Edward's dream wedding has finally arrived. Join their celebration of life and love and family. Discover what their future holds and share in their happily ever after. After an extended hiatus, I'm back with weekly updates!

Day #25: A fic that is a classic favorite

Who can not forget Bella Swan: Kidnapper by Kambria Rain?

Um. Hi. I don’t really know how to say this, but I have your kids with me, and I was thinking maybe you would like them back. So yeah… call me.

For me, I adored The Angel Series by drotuno. The first one is The Angel Series: Broken Angel.

The FIRST in the Angel series. This is my version of New Moon and beyond if Edward didn't return for 2 years. Jacob is NOT the sweet boy everyone thinks he is. What kind of Bella did Edward come back to? How does she react? AU/OOC-somewhat...Future LEMONS! Rated M for a reason. R&R!

The second one is Angel’s Embrace.

The SECOND in the Angel series. We are continuing in the lives of the Cullens, during their senior year at Dartmouth, when some new things develop in their lives. Will Edward and Bella be able to deal with the changes? AU/slightly-OOC. Rated M...lemons, language, violence. Sequel to Broken Angel.

The third in the series is An Angel’s Promise.

The THIRD in the Angel series. We pick up where we last left off. Edward and Bella starting new in England...new friends, old friends...and lots of love, angst, and music. AU/slightly-OOC...and as always, lemons. Sequel to Broken Angel & Angel's Embrace.

The fourth one and the one that is most poignant, Haunted Angel.

The FOURTH in the Angel Series. Its a year later. When the Cullens move to a new home, Edward begins to hear something he can't explain. Is it a ghost or is he losing his mind? As always, there's love, angst, and music, plus old friends & new. AU/slightly-OOC Canon couples E/B Lemons/language

Day #26: A fic that is your guilty secret.

Any fic that I've read could be my guilty secret. I started reading FF after I'd read the saga more times than I could count. I needed more. Then, I read The Gentleman from Washington State, falling down a rabbit hole.

However, probably the one that is my biggest guilty secret is Master of the Universe (Fifty Shades of Grey.) I stayed up ALL night to read the entire thing in one go.

Day #27: A fic that should be made into a movie.

#TailWard ... Written in the Stars should totally be made into a movie.

Edward is king of a dying race, his planet torn by civil war. Bella is abducted to become his bride. From college student to Queen... Can she learn to love this strange man and help save his people? AU/OOC, Rated M

Successful in business, Edward keeps his personal relationships shallow but then he meets Isabella who is strong, kind, determined and fiercely independent. Will Isabella let Edward help her to achieve more than just having the best croissant recipe in town? Will Edward let Bella show him how sweet love can be? EPOV; HEA; AH. Voted #3 in Top 10 stories published Dec 2014.

Day #17: A fic everyone should read

This story is one of those stories that is iconic. I love this Edward ... he’s sexy and so freaking yummy. It’s also written by one of the best partnerships in the fandom: Sarge’s Girls ... you can’t go wrong with Coming Home.

School teacher Bella sends a care package and letter to Army sergeant Edward, who is stationed in Afghanistan. They begin a relationship through letters, phone calls, and video chats. There's love, there's language, and there's adult situations, plus a strong, independent Bella and the Edward we all know and love.

Day #18: A fic by an author who is no longer in the fandom

I miss Lexi. One of the first stories I’ve read when I started fic was The Story of Us.

Dr. Edward Cullen came to Port Jervis for a new career little did he know he would find the true love of his life, none other than coworker Bella Swan. What happens when you get everything you could ever want when you never asked for it? AH. Canon couples

There is a sequel, Instructions Not Included.

The Story of us Sequel. If you haven't read 'The Story of Us', please do so before you read this. What happens after HEA? Sixteen years later and with a house full of teenagers. This picks up after TSOU's epilogue. Multiple P.O.Vs

Day #19: A fic that is a quick read.

Sometimes you need a quick pick-me-up. A story that is filled with fluffy goodness, with a touch of angst, and you can finish in one sitting. The first one is Penalty Shot by Edward’s Eternal.

Recently divorced, Bella struggles to find a new life for her and her son Jake. Enter Edward and his son, Emmett. Used to being alone, finding Bella is an unexpected surprise for Edward. Blending their lives together sometimes requires an extra shot on goal to even things up. A simple, heartwarming story of two single parents finding love again, healing and building a new family.

Another wonderful story by Edward’s Eternal is another favorite quick read ... Out of the Mouths of Babes.

Dr. Edward Cullen loves his job, but lives for his daughter. When her little world explodes he will do anything to piece it back together. But could the solution also bring him the happiness he didn't realize he was missing?

Day #20: A fic that makes you want to fall in love

When I was at my lowest, going through a divorce, I read this story and it restored my faith in love. Have I fallen in love again? No, but Tides of Fate by SparklingTwilight just gives you warm fuzzies (and some hot schmexy times).

Day #21: A fic you can get lost in

I’ve never been to Key West by PattyRosa but this story makes me want to go.

Bella is 5 minutes away from what's to be her happiest day - when a phone call changes it all. Frustrated and pissed-off, she embarks on a 10 day vacay to Key West, hoping for some space in which to clear her head, but when she meets the cocky, flirty and sexy-as-sin diving instructor, her plans take a much steamier turn. BxE Summer Short Story with M thru F updates. Rated M.
