La Cantante Repost

I had to admit. Edward looked fucking hot in glasses. He grumbled that he looked like a nerd, but I wholeheartedly disagreed. The glasses we chose made the angles of his face look much sharper and his features appear to be more chiseled. As much as he disliked them, he did keep them on, which was something that surprised me. When I first got glasses, I hated wearing them and would take them off, pretending I didn’t wear them. My teachers would yell at me when I squinted and my dad would get all stern when I complained that I got a headache. I eventually got over it when I started wearing contacts. However, my prescription was much more severe than Edward’s. I had to get the polycarbonate lenses so they wouldn’t break the frame.

After our little snow vacation, classes resumed like normal. The teachers distributed updated assignment lists as the missing days had goofed up their syllabi. The girls and I had our self-defense seminar on Tuesdays and we worked on some different attacks and postures. Stephen was pleased with our improvement. We also didn’t have our usual performance at Eclipse the past weekend due to the weather. We hadn’t had an opportunity to rehearse and the club was forced to close because of the snow. Kellan had called us and told us that we were to play this Friday. Edward had agreed and we scheduled a rehearsal for Wednesday with Jasper and Emmett.

During the day on Wednesday, we went to our classes. Music Theory was interesting as Larry was absent. Victoria did a better job teaching than James did. However, you could tell that she was not comfortable in front of the class. She did appear to look at Edward a little too closely during class. Her eyes ran up and down him like he was something to eat. I poked him in the belly and gestured to Victoria. Edward looked at her, arching a brow over his frames and she quickly looked away, blushing.

“She’s undressing you with her eyes, Edward. I don’t like it,” I muttered angrily, shooting a sharp glare in her direction.

“Someone’s jealous,” Edward laughed.

“You bet your ass I’m jealous. You’re mine. Only I get to undress you, with my eyes and otherwise,” I said folding my arms across my chest.

“You’re right, baby. Just ignore her. I love only you,” he said as he tucked a piece of hair behind my ear. I nodded and turned back to my notes. I shot daggers at Victoria for the rest of the class and made sure that I flashed my engagement ring, like a talisman.
