This is NOT an update, but an announcement. Clo and I have been working on Fire of Your Soul, but it's been slow going. Real life and lack of muse have made it difficult to coordinate our schedules to work on the stories. We have chapter seven written and have started working on chapter eight. After discussing it with Clo, we're going to FINISH the story before resuming in updating it. That way, we can have a completed story for you and a consistent update schedule. (The teacher in me needs me to have a plan ... I'm a consummate planner).
What does this mean for you? A delay, possibly next summer before this story is updated again. The good news is that we have the story planned. It will be nineteen chapters long. We want to make sure we give you a solid, well-written story. We don't want to rush the story for sake of rushing it.
As always, we appreciate your patience, but we wanted to let you know.
Lots of love,
HeartForTwilight and Tufano79
PS - Once we get the story completed, we will post teasers on our blogs and for me, twitter ... tufano79.

An Update on the Update Schedule
Hey all ...
I know I've been MIA. Real life has been, to put it mildly, kicking my ass as of late. This was the message I posted on my stories ...
Hey all ... this is NOT an update. It's a message. For those of you in my Facebook group (Tufano79's Twilight Fanfiction Appreciation), you know that I'm struggling. Real life is currently kicking my ass. I'm barely able to keep my head above water. When I make some sort of headway, something pulls me back down. I worked eighty hours last week with concerts, field trips and wrapping up the first quarter. I'm working the same this week, plus the weekend.
With that being said, all of my stories are on hiatus since my muse is being a persnickety, fickle little bitch. Right now, writing fic feels more like work and not that much fun. I haven't written anything in almost a month. The free time I have to write, I just want to sleep or relax. Or cry ... crying seems to be a popular option right now.
I'm sorry about the delay, but I can't post anything if I have nothing written. In fact, this is the most I've written (save for work emails) since the end of September. And it's not even a fic ... Sigh ...
Thank you for your patience and I'm hoping to have something written soon. I just need to take some time for myself. I can't say when I'll be back, but I will be. I won't leave stories unfinished. That's just not me.
I'm signing off for now ...
Hugs,
Tufano79
Well, now that I'm done with my production and I've finally gotten my head above water, I've been able to write. It's not A LOT, but it's something. I'm hoping ... HOPING ... that I can begin posting updates by the first weekend in December. I need to build up a surplus as I don't have any updates in the bank.
I've finished a couple of chapters for A Modern Day Fairy Tale and I'm working on an update for Married to the Mob: Fighting For Freedom. Plus, Clo and I are hoping to return to Fire of Your Soul. We both are just so busy.
With that being said, A Modern Day Fairy Tale will be updated on December 7th with Married to the Mob:Fighting for Freedom will be update on December 9th with a teaser the following weekend. As always, I appreciate your patience with my crazy schedule and my RL drama. I'm also thankful for all of the words of encouragement and support during this rough patch. Alec and Wendy? You both went above and beyond and I'm so grateful for both of you.
See you in a couple of weeks with some updates. I promise. Check here for pic teasers ...
All the best,
Josie

It's That Time of Year ...
I'm on spring break, at the moment (and it was sooooooo needed, just saying). But, when I get back to school on Tuesday, I'll be in the midst of tech weeks of my spring musical, The Sound of Music. With that being said, I get to look forward to leaving for work at 6:30 in the morning, getting home at ten at night. Suffice it to say, updates will be put on a temporary hiatus until I'm done with my show. Here's the update schedule ...
I'm also working on the plan for the Married to the Mob sequel (I'm still struggling with the title). I've got nine and a half chapters planned. I need to transfer the ideas to Google Docs and talk to Clo about a banner ... but I need a title for that.
I'm also hoping to have Picking up the Pieces finished by Memorial Day weekend. That way, I can focus my attention on A Modern Day Fairy Tale, Married to the Mob, Pt. II and a couple of other ideas bubbling in my mind.
Thank you for your support and mad love to all of you!
- Friday, March 30th ~ A Modern Day Fairy Tale update, the last one until April 20th (with a teaser on April 16th.)
- Tuesday, April 3rd ~ Picking up the Pieces update, the last one until April 24th (with a teaser on April 17th.)

Just a Little Update ...
... about the craziness that I call my life.
Ha!
Okay, so I'm in the midst of the sprint to the finish to the end of the school year. I love my job. I love my kids. But, I'm so ready for a break. These next two weeks are going to be insane. I think I have one, maybe two days that I'll get home at a decent hour. So, yeah ... updates are on hiatus.
Until I can play catch up. I'm trying to write, but with exhaustion creeping in, it's a bit of a struggle. I'm taking a 'mental health day' on Thursday, but I'm planning on mainly sleeping. We'll see if I can get some writing done.
So, there will be NO UPDATES for any of my stories until after I'm done with school. My last day is May 30th and it's a five hour day, but I'm getting a pedicure with my best friend to celebrate the end of the year.
I will, at least, I hope, to try and post teasers once I begin updating again. I will post a teaser for Married to the Mob on Thursday, as well as La Musica del Cuore, but the updates will resume after school is out. I have chapters for the stories already pre-written. Out of the Darkness, The Magic Within and The One That Got Away, I need to work on chapters for those. Mainly, finishing the latter. I apologize for slacking, but my job and surviving the rest of the school year is my first priority. I'm nearly done. The end is in sight. And then, I get almost three months off of work (and possibly some vacation time!).
I also have some other stories rolling around in my head ... one of which is called Shaky Ground ... Clo has already created a banner for it since I'd was struck by a plot bunny. We'll see where this goes, but it's a Doctorward. I love me some Doctorward. He's just downright sexy.
Ha!

And I'm rambling ...
Further proof that I need a damned vacation. Just saying. I'm off to go to bed since I had almost no weekend and it's going to be a busy, busy week. Thank you for your patience. I have the best readers in the world. I love you all and I'll see you on the flipside!

Public Service Announcement
So, with the arrival of August, school is just around the corner. In less than two weeks, I'll be back to school with a new and challenging position as a choral director. It's been six years since I've last had a choir and this is the first time, ever, that I will have an entire schedule for JUST choir and have my own room (I'm stoked about that! I don't have to travel!)
As a result of the new year, things will be changing with updates and such. I want to keep the rigorous update schedule that I have, but until I can get a read of how I'm able to handle this, updates may slow down. And I will probably just focus my attention to ONE story at a time in order to make the most out of my time.
So, here's the plan. I'm hoping to finish Buying Love before the end of summer break. It's getting close to the end of the story with a few things to wrap up. I'll keep the Monday/Friday updating schedule. So You Think You Can Dance is also close to its finish as well, perhaps another ten chapters besides the ones I have written (through chapter 17). That will update on every other Thursday, but it's all dependent on how much surplus I can build. La Musica del Cuore has a long way to go and I have a plan, but it will take time. This is the question mark ... can I maintain the every other week updating schedule with this? I don't know. The One That Got Away has a surplus and the chapters come together quickly, but I may reduce the update schedule to once a week, mainly on Sundays.
I need to make things easier for me since I'm stressing out about my new position and how it will impact everything I do. I'm excited about teaching choir since that's what I went to school for, but I'm anxious about the logistics. How do I fit 300 students on a set risers? Who can accompany me? Should I break up my concerts by grade? So, therein lies the problems.
I hope you are patient with me and I'll keep you posted.
Also, I have a couple of things on the back burner. I just came up with a plot bunny (the post previous to this one) along with a one-shot/futuretake for Star Crossed called Fractured Dreams for Fandoms Against Domestic Violence, and my fallen angel story, Out of the Darkness. I need to finish what's in front of me before I can address these things, with the exception of the one-shot. I've got a deadline for that, but we'll see what happens. And let's not forget Picking up the Pieces. I do plan on finishing that one, but I am still not in the right spot, mentally to attack that. *Sigh*
Thanks for reading and I'll see you on the flip side!
Hugs,
Josie 'Tufano79'

Jasper was still in shock as Bella tucked into her salad.
Alice chuckled quietly before giving Bella a glare. “So, have you come up with
anything? If you’re going the BDSM route, I’ve found a few places we can go to
research.”
“I’m not going that way, Ali,” Bella replied. “I refuse to
be a sheep that goes down that path. It’s not me.”
“If Edward suggested it, would you do it?” Alice countered.
“Mary Alice Brandon Whitlock, if you want to continue being
my literary agent, I suggest you stop pushing this,” Bella snapped. Her harsh
tone broke Jasper’s gaze as he scowled at Bella. “Don’t you start, too. Your
wife is pushing me to write something that I do not feel comfortable with.”
“Alice, stop being so Alice-y,” Jasper teased, tucking a
hair behind her ear. “What are the ideas that you do have?”
“I sent you a word doc,” Bella replied. “It’s all there.”
Alice took out her phone and opened the email, nodding and
smiling. “Okay, you’re forgiven for being a pain in the ass about the BDSM
story. These are all great.”
“Which one should I do?” Bella asked. “I know where I’m
leaning, but I’m curious what catches your eye.”
“The sequel to Mafia
Princess looks intriguing. Spinning it to where Antonia is pulled back into
the darkness of being the daughter of a mafia don and Caden following her.
Plus, the sex scenes between those two are hot. That’s why it was a best
seller,” Alice nodded, reading Bella’s notes. “However, the reasoning behind it
would have to be clearer. Caden is an US Attorney and Antonia is a writer. How
do they get lured back into that life?”
“Good point,” Bella nodded, popping in a piece of chicken. “What
else?”
“I love the paranormal romance you’ve got going … the broken
angel living on earth because he started World War II? That is just fucking
interesting. I can tell that you’ve got the most notes on that one, even
character names and a basic plot diagram,” Alice said. “Working title?”
“Out of the Darkness,”
Bella replied. “Their happily ever after will be a different spin on my usual.
Did you see the ending?”
“No way! I think you need to do this one,” Alice breathed. “It’s
dark, twisted, snarky and totally bad ass.”
For those of you who don't know, I am working on a paranormal romance featuring Edward and Bella called Out of the Darkness. I submitted the prologue and first two chapters for Fandom for Mental Health. Once I finish one of my works in progress, I will begin working on this in earnest. More than likely, once Buying Love is done; that's the story closest to being complete. Anyhow, here is the banner, created by Clo Rodeffer. Thanks, Clo!

Carlisle arrived an hour or so later with a thick file folder. His face was grim. “What’s the news, Carlisle?” I asked, offering him a seat. “Is Edward an axe murderer?”
“He’s not an axe murderer, but he is in trouble,” Carlisle explained. “First, I have information about Edward and then information from Alice and Jasper Whitlock. What do you want to hear first?”
“Edward,” I nodded. “Tell me about him.”
“Okay. He was born in a small town about three hours from here, Forks. His mother was a homemaker and his father worked at the local bank as the vice president. He handled high-end mortgages, loans and investment opportunities until Edward was about nine or ten. He moved from that bank to a smaller investment company in Port Angeles, working there until he was killed in a drunk driving accident when Edward was fourteen,” Carlisle described.
“I know about the accident,” I said, furrowing my brow.
“It was bad, Little One. Edward Masen Senior was decapitated and there was very little left of him. The other driver was completely hammered, drifting over into the other lane, hitting Edward’s car head on. What was worse was the fact that Edward Masen had used his savings to back up the investment company when they got into hot water. Little Edward and Elizabeth, Edward’s wife, were left with a huge pile of debt and nothing to fall back on. The investment company tried to help them out, but by the time Edward was seventeen, their house was foreclosed on and they were homeless. To make matters worse, Elizabeth has early onset Alzheimer’s due to the stress of losing her husband. Once the house was foreclosed on, Edward took his mother, hopping on a bus to Seattle and renting a tiny one-bedroom apartment in his mother’s name. After that, I can’t find anything else,” Carlisle said, handing me the file with Edward’s information. His eyes told me that he was skeptical about the info.
“What’s with this face?” I asked.
“It’s like Edward was erased after he moved into that apartment, Bella,” Carlisle said. “As if he didn’t exist.”

FYI ~ I will be away on business on Friday and will not have access to internet. I'm leaving from school on Thursday and will not return until late Saturday evening. As a result, Buying Love will not update on Friday. I plan to update it on Saturday, upon my return.

The End is in Sight
Holy crow ... this week has been all sorts of crazy.
It all started with a horrible Halloween weekend. It was very emotional and I was missing my mom. It was so bad that I made a phone call to a psychiatrist. Thankfully, I was able to get in and I'm now on antidepressants. Not a choice that I wanted to make, but my mother's death is really hitting me. I'm still adjusting to the medication, but i can feel a difference. Plus, my psychiatrist is well-aware that I want this to be temporary.
On top of that, we had what is coined as hell week for the production of Cinderella: A Dream Come True. The earliest I got home was 9:30 and that was on Thursday. It was a comedy of errors, but the show opened last night and it was AWESOME! I'm very proud of my kids.
I am anxious to get back to writing, that's for sure. My normal posting schedule will resume on Monday. Buying Love will be posted when I get home from work. Plus, I'm working on completing Star Crossed. I'm about halfway through the final chapter, moving to the epilogue. I'm planning to post a chapter each Thursday until it's complete (on Thanksgiving). I also have another story in the works. An extended summary will be posted soon! Keep your eyes peeled! :-)
Thank you for your patience.
Hugs!

Sooooo ...
Yeah, I'm the assistant director of the fall play. We're doing Cinderella. Our performances are getting close. As in, like, the week after next. I wanted to touch base with all of you to inform you about updates during my 'hell week.'
They won't be happening.
I won't get home until after nine at night. I'll barely have enough time to shower and get ready for work for the next day.
I will be updating this week and here's the schedule:
Monday, Oct. 26 ~ Buying Love Chapter Fourteen and Under Construction Teaser (perviness galore!)
Tuesday, Oct. 27 ~ Buying Love Teaser
Wednesday, Oct. 28 ~ Under Construction Chapter Eight
Thursday, Oct. 29 ~ Star Crossed Teaser
Friday, Oct. 30 ~ Buying Love Chapter Fifteen and Under Construction Teaser
Saturday, Oct. 31st ~ Buying Love Teaser
Sunday, Nov. 1st ~ Under Construction Chapter Nine
Monday Nov. 2nd - Sunday Nov. 8th ~ NO UPDATES OR TEASERS
Monday Nov. 9th ~ Posting schedule to resume, like normal.
Clear as mud? Yeah?
Long and short of it, I won't be posting anything during the first week in November. My life is just too hectic. I will try to get some writing in, but we'll see. Thank you, everyone, for reading. I truly appreciate your support in my hobby.
Hugs!

Star Crossed: An Update on Posting and a Teaser
Hey all ~
I hope you guys haven't forgot about me and this little story called Star Crossed. My life kind of imploded toward the end of May and it's finally settled down. Unfortunately, I lost my mother to cancer on May 27th. She was a beautiful, loving woman and I will miss her tremendously. Her illness and subsequent death are the main reasons why I took a step back from this story. It required all of my brain and I didn't have all of my brain to give.
Now, here's the plan on what I'm doing with Star Crossed. I'm hoping to start updating every other Thursday, beginning on August 13th. I do want to finish this story before the end of the year, but I have to get back into the swing of things. I've re-read what I wrote (and I'm kind of shocked at how good it was) so I can remind myself of the plot. I've started working on an update and I'm about 2100 words into chapter seventeen.
Teasers will come out on the Thursdays that I'm not updating and I'll periodically throw some pictures out there as well. Speaking of periodic pic teasers, here's a couple now.
